Diwali Festival of Lights Sunbury 2023
The team at Multicultural Resources Hub is thrilled to have successfully delivered the Sunbury Diwali – Connecting Communities Together event on November 25th, 2023. We are immensely grateful to everyone who attended and made it a grand success. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Victorian Government for their support through the West Gate Tunnel Project’s Sunbury & Bulla Neighbourhood Fund. It is through such partnerships that we can confidently take the lead in creating a truly multicultural society.
Through this program, we were able to showcase community connections through cultural celebration and inclusiveness. The Diwali Festival of Lights was an ideal way to increase community engagement by displaying entertainment from several cultural groups, including performances from some of Sunbury’s very own talented local youth,seniors, and community members.
Thank you once again for your participation and support. We look forward to hosting more events that bring our community together.
